There will be over 3 million orphans of HIV/AIDS in the new South Africa. Millions of children without parents, without a family home, with no one to care for them. Millions of orphans with out hope, without a future. The orphan crisis is South Africa critical. South Africa has the largest number of HIV infections in the world and the provence with the highest rate is Kwa-Zulu Natal. In the heart of Kwa- Zulu Natal is where you find the Valley of a Thousand Hills. This is where Project O was established in 2005 in response to this major challenge.
Project O aims to see African AIDS orphans fully supported through sponsorship, within extended families or 100% self sufficient homes where children are nurtured in a safe, caring and loving environment. We aim to provide hope by giving children the opportunity to grow, thrive and hear the of the love of Jesus Christ.
Project O does this in 2 ways; through child sponsorship and through building 100%self sufficient homes. To find out more about these Projects click on WHAT WE DO.
